Professor Marnie Hughes Warrington will be interviewed by HTANSW's Paul Kiem. Questions will survey a number of historiographical issues before focusing on Marnie's current work for her next book, Machine-Made Histories. Marnie, an internationally recognised scholar in the field of historiography, is Deputy Vice Chancellor (Research & Enterprise) at the University of South Australia. She is also HTANSW’s Patron. This webinar will incorporate elements of the Keynote Address Marnie had been due to deliver at the 2020 HTANSW State Conference.

Even though it is the first event in HTANSW’s Term III webinar program, this ‘feature webinar’ will be different:

  • It will be open to students and all teachers, including non-members.
  • The registration fee will be $10.
  • It will not be NESA endorsed. However, it may be a ‘teacher identified’ professional learning activity.
  • All attendees are encouraged to take their own notes – there will be no pre-prepared handout for the interview.
