As a member of the HTANSW you will join a collegial network that has been in existence since 1954. Your membership will support HTANSW in its efforts to promote the study and teaching of History, provide professional assistance to colleagues and coordinate the sharing of information and resources between individuals, school systems and regions.

Membership Conditions

  • Membership period is for the calendar year, i.e. from Jan 1 to Dec 31 each year
  • Late renewals will receive back issues of material ONLY if available
  • Membership for the current year will not be accepted after 31st October of each year
  • New members who join from 1st November each year will be subscribing to the 'next year' membership, and therefore are not entitled to printed material from the 'current year'
  • Membership must be taken out in the appropriate membership category
  • Membership is NOT TRANSFERABLE
  • Refunds are not available for HTANSW membership

For all NSW History Teachers and any individual residing in Australia only, interested in the promotion of History.
